PERMANENT MONITORING OF RAILWAY OVERHEAD CATENARY POLES INCLINATION

In the event of railway overhead catenary pole twist there are several negative results being appeared at a time, such as deterioration of stock power supply quality, drop of unit efficiency and hazard of locomotive collector shoe damage. As for now, mast twist occasion is being detected via visual method only during technical maintenance performance. Design of permanent monitoring of railway overhead catenary poles inclination with instant data acquisition feature was completed by authors of this article. Our approach is founded on application of sensor's set with inclinometers together with developed universal network of data transmission being functioned via unlicensed frequency 868.7 MHz. This manner allows us to fulfill constant vigilance of reinforced concrete masts and steel poles technical conditions plus this option is easy to adapt to light signal inclination angle control performance."
